Bob Marley was born in a village called Saint Ann Parish on Jamaica.
His original name is Robert Nesta Marley. Bob's father was born in Jamaica,
but had British parents. His name was Norval Sinclair Marley, and was married
to a Jamaican who was the mother of Bob. Her name was Cedelle Booker.
Bob was only 10 years old when his father, Norval, died.

Bob Marley was bullied a lot when he was a kid because of his height. But he
had a tremendous mental strength that made him the nickname "Tuff Gong" .

In 1962 Marley recorded his first two singles, "Judge Not" and "One Cup of Coffee",
with music producer Leslie Kong. These songs didn’t get so popular. His most
popular songs is “No woman no cry", "Don't worry, be happy", "Buffalo soldier" and "Three little birds".
